David's Obituary
David L. Lowe, 63, of Sawyer, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2022 in St. Joseph. He was born February 15, 1959 in Michigan City, IN to Richard and Janice (Waak) Lowe.
The family will receive guests from 4-6pm, Friday, October 21, 2022 at Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo. Inurnment will be held privately at New Troy Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Association, www.cancer.org or the American Legion Post 169, 19121 US-12, New Buffalo, MI 49117.
David worked at Tru Die Cast for 20 years, M & M Die Cast for six years, drove a semi for five years, and for Ozgina for 22 years before retiring. He loved hunting and fishing with his dad, loved boating on Lake Michigan and lakes up north as well as motorcycling.
David is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carol (McNees) Lowe, whom he married December 22, 1989 in Bridgman; his step-daughters, Donna (Jimmy) Young, and Barbara Daniel; his grandchildren, Ricky Emery, Jr., Kristy Emery, and Kaitlynn Marks; and his siblings, Diana Killingbeck, Rebecca (Michael) Cronk, Daniel (Darlene) Lowe, and Brian (Angie) Lowe. He is preceded in death by his parents.
