David's Obituary
David Lee Briney, 62, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday December 9, 2022.
David was born February 18, 1960 in Benton Harbor, MI.
David graduated from Benton Harbor High School. He loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and once Rode for Berrien County Riders. He Loved his Jeep Wrangler and going off roading. David loved the outdoors and tinkering in his garage but most of all he loved his family and spending time with them all.
David worked for 37 years at Siemans of Bridgman and St. Joseph, MI as a Jeep, Ford, and Mazda Technician. Prior to Siemans he worked for Bendix Corporation of St. Joseph, MI.
David was preceded in death by his parents Howard L. and Mary Ann (Beland) Briney. Grandparents Ben & Ruth Beland and Marshal & Sarah Briney.
David is survived by his significant other Julie Motry of Benton Harbor, his brother Daniel (Kathy) Briney of Eau Claire, MI, sister Marcia (Bill) Long of Grand Junction, MI, a son Dylan (Ashley) Briney of Kalamazoo, MI a niece Ali (Cody) Warren of Watervliet, MI, 3 step daughters Amber (Bill) Reynolds of Stevensville, Courtney Bauschke & Brittany Motry both of Benton Harbor and 11 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 5:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in c/o Julie Motry to help with expenses.
