Daniel Joseph “Danny” Eberhardt, 51, of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at his home.
Danny was born on October 29, 1971, to Edward & Barbara (Diederich) Eberhardt Sr., in St. Joseph. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1990 and then continued his education in Chicago studying heating and air conditioners. He spent many years working at various plastic factories around town. Danny has always loved the outdoors, when he was young, he enjoyed playing sports with his brother and the neighborhood kids. He had a big love for motocross and loved racing. He also had a passion for snowmobiling, skiing and jet skiing. Danny also enjoyed working on his cars and traveling with his family. His most cherished time was spent with his son Damon playing video games.
Danny is survived by his mother Barabara Eberhardt; son Damon Eberhardt; brother Edward (Christina) Eberhardt Jr.; aunt Cindy Diederich; step daughter Brittany Glover; and ex-wife Susan Cauley Eberhardt. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Edward Eberhardt Sr., grandmother Florence Diederich and uncle Don Diederich.
A prayer service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 1PM, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Deacon Ed Nickel officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may visit with Danny’s family on Monday from 11AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Danny’s family in c/o Damon Eberhardt.
