Crystal's Obituary
Crystal Lynette Henry departed this life on Thursday, February 9, 2023 in Covert, Michigan at the age of 43. Crystal was born on October 18th, 1979 in St. Joe, Michigan to Veronica L. Henry and Tyrone E Jones.
Visitation for Crystal will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M at Filbrandt Chapel, South Haven, Michigan. Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Bobby Walker officiating. Crystal will be laid to rest at Covert Cemetery in Covert, Michigan.
Crystal was a woman of many hats and shined in everything she put her hands to. She was a phenomenal daughter and mother, the best big sister, an amazing self-made chef and a master beautician and cosmetologist. She was known for having growing hands and a miracle worker when it came to hair. But above all her many skills, talents and hobbies, Crystal most enjoyed cleaning and basking in the flawless glory of spotlessness.
Crystal was truly loved by too many to name or count. She was a blessing and a friend to everyone she knew. She would go above and beyond to lend a helping hand and always had a meal, pillow, and blanket for whoever needed it. Despite living with chronic pain since birth, Crystal selflessly gave of herself until she took her last breath. Thanks be to God, who blessed us with her presence, loved her enough to take her back quickly and painlessly.
Crystal leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents Veronica Henry of Covert, MI and Tyrone Jones of Holland, MI; her children: Tjay L Henry(Holland, MI); Rickia A. Greenwood(Covert, MI); Deandrea N Greenwood and Antwione Greenwood Jr.(Holland, MI); and Darius D Hawkins(Covert, MI); Siblings: April Wilburn(Holland, MI); Rickie D. Wilburn Jr. (Covert, MI), Chas M. (Shariez) Perry(Zeeland, MI) Tyrone Jones Jr.(Arizona); Lynell Jones (Georgia); Bonus Parents Mr. and Mrs. Chasin Swarn and Bonus Mom Ruby Smith; Fiancé Delmont Davis, Lifelong friend Wayne Swans; special sister in love, Antoinette Perry and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus siblings and bonus kids.
Crystal was preceded in death by her great grandmother Endia Neal, Grandparents Fred and Thelma Davis, Harold (Speedy) Bracken, Sister Delores Seawood and aunt Caroline Devine.
