Constance's Obituary
Constance C. Coyner, 90, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Monday – March 20, 2023 at the Franciscan Health Center in Michigan City, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel – 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.
Constance was born on May 9, 1932 in Mishawaka, IN to the late William and Margaret White. On June 30, 1951 in Mishawaka, she married Joseph Lee Coyner - Constance and Joseph were married for over 71 years. She was a retired secretary having worked for South Bend Lathe. Constance was a member of the Little Lulu’s Club of Mishawaka and the Red Hat Society. She loved to crochet. Her son Jeffrey says “she was an awesome Mom” and will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Constance is survived by her husband – Joseph; son Jeffrey (Bunny Ambrose) Coyner of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren - Jennifer Coyner and Grant Coyner; four great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Janet Coyner of Culver, IN; and her special canine companion - Ginger. She is preceded in death by a son – Brian Coyner and a sister Marge Beehler.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Thursday – March 23, from 10am-11am, at the Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo, MI. Private burial with the family is at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Osceola, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michiana Humane Society.
