Connie's Obituary
Connie Lee (Hosier) Dunnavent, 78, of Gobles, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born November 12, 1942 to Wesley Lee and Virginia Clara (Nelson) Hosier of South Haven, Michigan. Connie was known as a strong, stubborn woman who loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping at Walmart and going to garage sales and thrift markets. Connie was an avid bird watcher. She loved to watch them from her window and was known to purchase over 60lbs of birdseed a week. A natural homebody, she enjoyed sewing, working on puzzles, and reading hardcover books. Connie would do anything for anyone; she was completely selfless. She will be greatly missed for her beautiful smile and kind loving nature.
She is preceded in death by her parents, children – Debra Ann (Hosier) Widner and Marvin Franklin Dunnavent, Jr., and siblings – Patricia (Marvin) Covey and Karen (Glen) Chumley.
Connie is survived by her children – Daniel Lee Hosier, Bobbi Jean (Sam) Vosburgh, Michael Wayne (Vicki) Hosier, and Sharon Lee (Eddie) Stewart; siblings – Laverne (Carol) Hosier and Karl (Rita) Hosier; seventeen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will take place in the spring. Connie will be laid to rest at North Shore Memory Gardens, In Hagar Township, Michigan.
