Christine Spruell, 71, of Hartford, MI passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Spectrum Lakeland Hospital, in St. Joseph.

Chris was born on January 1, 1950, in Chicago, IL to Russell & Beverly (Schafer) Cregg. She graduated from Dowagiac Union High School and married the love of her life Robert Spruell on January 20, 1968. Chris loved to crochet baby blanket and Afghans, she made sure all of her children and grandchildren each received one. She enjoyed yard sales and Four Winds Casino. Chris was interested in the paranormal, enjoyed flowers especially Morning Glories. Diet Coke was her favorite drink to start the day. She was very unselfish always putting others before herself. She has a wicked sense of humor and enjoyed pranking her friends and family. Chris & Robert had a very strong partnership of love and family for over 53 years, she will be greatly missed.
Chris is survived by her husband Robert, children; Cindy Stovern and Bobby Spruell, grandchildren; Leah Hodder, Sarah Stovern, Jack Stovern great grandchildren; Charli Diamond, sister Carol (James) Zeidler. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Cynthia Stevenson and grandmother; Frieda Gould
