Cheryl's Obituary
Cheryl Jo (Winslow) Stalnaker, 72, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at her home.
Cheryl was born on January 29, 1950, to George & Josephine (Antanavich) Winslow in St. Joseph. She graduated with the class if 1968 at Lakeshore High School. For most of her life, Cheryl worked as a cosmetologist. After retirement, she was the fulltime caregiver for her mother Josephine.
Cheryl enjoyed being outdoors by camping, boating or hanging by the pool. She was often found entertaining guests with her wonderful cooking. She also had a passion for researching her family’s genealogy. Cheryl was a caring and loving person who liked to have a good time, she will be missed by many.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Justin Winter, Alyssia Winter, Tyson Winter and Austin Downs; grandchildren, Jayden Winter and Alex Winter; brother Don Winslow; first husband Randy Winter; and second husband Ed Downs.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband Edward Stalnaker.
A graveside gathering will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 11AM until 11:30AM, at Riverside Cemetery off of Three Oaks Road in Chikaming Township.
