Charlotte's Obituary
Charlotte Gail (Moore) Young, 69, of Hartford, MI. went home to be with her Lord and Savior July 4th 2023. Charlotte was born on June 30, 1954 in Weona, Arkansas to Louis and Juanita Moore.
Charlotte was a wonderful Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and an amazing Nana to her seventeen grandchildren. Kyle, Bryan, Junior, James Jr, Heather, Scotie, Danie, Jorian,Jacob, Jarien, Sophia, Maggie, Robbie, Sabrina, Caleb, Dylan and Cameron. Charlotte also had fifteen great grandchildren. Charlotte loved to play card games and was a avid reader of the Bible. Her love for God's word was so strong that she would read the whole New Testament weekly. Charlotte loved to play tricks on her loved ones and was a joy to be around. On September 12, 1987 Charlotte married the love of her life Jerry Young who proceeded her in death on November 29, 2021.
Charlotte is survived by two daughters Jodi (Jerry) Collins, Angie (James) Speck and three stepchildren Cathy, Daniel, and Dustin Young. Three brothers Ralph (Angie) Moore, Steve (Becky) Moore and Paul (Jill) Moore. Four sisters Barbara Willobee, Bonnie (Jerry) Rose, Tammy (Dale) Walker and Lori (Roy) Moore. Charlotte was proceeded in death by her to sons Kevin and Dewayne Sayre. Her parents Louis and Juanita Moore. Four brothers Louis Moore Jr, Bill Moore, Mike Moore and Craig Moore. One sister Sharon Kay Moore.
Charlotte will be forever in our hearts and thoughts. Our peace comes from knowing that our dear Charlotte is dancing with all her loved ones in Heaven and most of all her pain has ended. Her heart is full now that she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Charlotte will be deeply missed. Memorial Service will be July 17, 2023 at Red Arrow General Baptist Church 3207 Euclid Ave. Benton Harbor, MI. at 1pm. Luncheon will follow after the service.
