Cathy Ellen Wolford,72, of South Haven, MI passed away on July 4, 2023 in Holland, MI. Cathy was born to Thorman Charles Smith and Izola Meyers (Hunsberger) on February 5, 1951 in Allegan, MI. Cathy married William RH Wolford July 1989 and they shared 27 years of marriage before his passing on January 27, 2017.
A Graveside Service for Cathy will be held at Lakeview Cemetery on a later date. Pastor Travis of Peace Lutheran Church will officiate.
Cathy is survived by her children; Nicole (John) Brill of South Haven, Tim (Stacy) Wolford of Mansfield, Billy Wolford of Manchester, Terrie Craft of Kalamazoo and many grandchildren. Also survived by siblings; Gary (Marie) Smith and Larry (Beth) Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons; Gary Wolford, Danny Wolford and Randy Wolford, daughter, Penny and sister Melody Stroebel.
Cathy worked for South Haven Public Schools as a teacher’s aide for many years. She touched the lives of many children that she saw every day. Cathy also worked at Jim and Toni’s Dry Cleaning and Village Coin Laundry.
