Carol Elizabeth Parks, 75 of Coloma, MI passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life time of gathering will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 1 PM until 4 PM at The Coloma American Legion, 351 E. St. Joseph St., Coloma. The family is requesting memorials be made to the VA Battle Creek Health Care, 5500 Armstrong Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037. Carol was born August 25, 1946, in St. Joseph, to Carl & Evelyn (Marske) Mutz. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1964. Carol married the love of her life, Richard “Rich” Parks on October 14, 1967 in St. Joseph. Carol was a loving wife, mom and grandma that loved to sew, and devote time to helping veterans. Carol is survived by her husband, Rich; children, Jerry (Shelley) Parks and Wendy (Rodney) Tolbert; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
