Carol's Obituary
Carol A. Rush, 74, of Three Oaks, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Hanson Hospice Center, Stevensville.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from noon-2 pm ET on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Sommerfeld Chapel, 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI. Carol was born on May 8, 1947, to Harry and Freida (Koch) Mroz in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from New Carlisle High School. Carol was always very independent and dedicated to her family. She was an accomplished pianist and painter. Carol had a passion for art and created numerous beautiful canvases over the years, she also enjoyed baking. Carol appeared in the film Prancer, in a photo as the dead mother, which she was very proud of. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family.
Carol is survived by her son, Jonathan (Kelli) Rush of Fenton, MI; grandson, Christopher (Nina Reeser) Rush and siblings, Linda (Ed) Raschke, Diane (Peter) Hancz and Thomas (Angelika) Mroz, and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Freida Mroz, sister Judith Knack, and half-brother, Roger Brennom.
