Bruno's Obituary

Bruno Pahl, 86, of Benton Harbor, passed away, Sunday, January 30, 2022 at his home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Nathan Buch officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Bruno’s name may be made to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church or St. Joe Kickers Sport Club. Bruno was born March 14, 1935 in Bugrin, Poland to Daniel & Emilie (Nickel) Pahl. Bruno’s family moved to Southwest Michigan in 1952, and in 1954, he gained employment with Avion Coach in Benton Harbor as a cabinet maker. Bruno was a faithful employee for nearly forty years until they closed in the 1990’s. Bruno was a long-time member with his family at the St. Joe Kickers Sport Club where he enjoyed playing soccer. He was very fond of his many feline companions over the years.

Bruno is survived by his sister Agathe Lehmann of St. Joseph. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother& sister-in-law Erwin & Lydia Reinhardt, his brother-in-law Ewald Lehmann, and by four nephews-Mark (Erin) & Bruno Lehmann and Pete (Gabe) & Kurt Reinhardt.
