Bonnie's Obituary
She was born on December 1, 1945 in Benton Harbor, MI, the daughter of the late Fred and Ruth (Zerbe) Schulz. On June 27, 1964, Bonnie was united in marriage to Jack A. Miller in St. Joseph. They were members of Revive Church (formerly, First Assembly of God) in Coloma since 1992. She was employed by Leath Furniture, Credit Bureau of Benton Harbor, and finally Lakeland Memorial Hospital in St. Joseph until her retirement. Bonnie’s greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Jack Miller; two sons: John (Sheila) Miller of St. Joseph and Steven Miller of Holland; six grandchildren: Christopher Lents, Amber (Tim) Tebbens, Cody (Amanda) Miller, Conner Miller, Dustin Miller and Lila Miller; seven great-grandchildren: Adeline, Lucas, Jason, Amelia, Charlie, Caden and Brooklyn; nephew: Robert (Heather) Schulz; niece: Amy (Kevin) Ailes and extended family.
Preceding her in death were her daughter: Mary Ann Lents; and brother: Walter “Butch” Schulz.
A funeral service to celebrate Bonnie’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Ed Richcreek officiating. Interment will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hanson Hospice Center.
