Barbara McIntosh, 82, of Stevensville, MI passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 19, 2024 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3903 Lake St., Bridgman, MI 49106 with Fr. Arthur Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Township Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to Caring Circle Hospice. Barbara was born October 20, 1941 in Benton Harbor, MI to Allen & Freida (Livesey) Ziemke Sr. She graduated from St. John’s High School in 1960. On June 4, 1966 she married Patrick McIntosh. Barbara and Patrick had a love for there Airedale dogs that they raised together.
Barbara enjoyed her many nieces and nephews, along with all of the special friends. She was a devoted catholic and enjoyed spending time with her church family. She especially enjoyed eating out. Her favorite hangouts included, The Navajo, Crimson Café and Full Circle. Each one of those places were very special to her because they treated her like family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband Patrick McIntosh on March 7, 2018 and her three siblings.
