Anne's Obituary
Anne Edith McIntyre of Glendora, Michigan, formally of Huntley, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, October 27, 2023.
Anne was most proud of her six children; Cynthia (Mike)Torrence, Christine Benuzzi, John (Cheryl)Benuzzi, Jessica Benuzzi, Theresa Benuzzi and Mary Anne Benuzzi.
She was also a loving grandmother to Tori, Taylr, Joe, Stephanie and Amanda; great-grandmother to Angelo, Carmen, Joy, Dak and Olive Mae; dearest sister to Jack McIntyre and sister-in-law (the late Dede) and dear aunt and cousin to many.
Anne was born on January 16, 1936. She had fond memories of growing up in Garfield Park in Chicago, climbing trees and ice skating with her best friend, Loraine. As a young teenager Anne loved being a candy striper at a local hospital taking care of new born babies. Anne worked many years at the Chicago Board of Education where she helped employ many people. She also enjoyed her retirement years in Huntley, IL. Anne will be missed by all who knew her. Interment will be private.
