Ann R. Ferrell, 92, of St. Joseph, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Caretel Inns- St. Joseph.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 4PM until 6PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. A private family burial will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085. Ann was born on November 4, 1930, to Virgil & Mabel (Elgen) Davison in Hickory Ridge, AR. After she graduated from high school, she married the love of her life Harold Ferrell on July 3, 1950. Ann lived for the Lord, she was a proud member of the Asheville Assembly of God Church in Asheville, NC, where she was heavily involved with many church activities. In her spare time, Ann enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening.
Ann is survived by her three sons, Stephen (Joni) Ferrell of Saint Joseph, Terry (Debbie) Ferrell of Otsego, MI and Gregory Ferrell of Covington, LA; grandchildren, Megan (Kevin O’Connell) Ferrell, Amanda Ferrell, Justin Ferrell, and Kariann Ferrell; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Gifford of Michigan City, Ken (Joy) Davison of Saint Joseph, Edward (Pat) Davison of Michigan City, IN, Sue (Richard) Safirt of Michigan City, IN, and Ruby Rousey of Texas.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Mable Davison; husband Harold Ferrell; and brother Bob Davison.
