Aniceta "Anita"'s Obituary
Aniceta “Anita” Justyna Plisow, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 23, 2023. She was born in Wroclaw, Poland and was raised by her loving parents, Kazimierz and Zyta Sobotka. She married Robert Plisow and they spent 26 loving years together until his passing in 2007.
A memorial service for Aniceta will take place on November 19, 2023, at The American Legion located at 3093 Johnson Rd., Stevensville, MI 49127, at 1:00 pm.
Anita was an avid collector of many things and a huge Disney lover. She enjoyed traveling and new experiences. Anita was a brave mother that accomplished the raising of her children in turbulent/uncertain times of her life, such as during the emergence of Solidarity in Poland; or moving halfway across the planet to a new country with 2 young children and a 3rd on the way. Anita achieved her career dream of becoming a correctional officer. Anita was well loved in her community and will be dearly missed.
Aniceta is survived by her children; Sylwia Plisow (Justin Lopez), Aleksandra Plisow, and Roger Plisow of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Klaudia, Kryspin, Karolina, Johnathan, Dillan, Sabina, Brenden, Bentley, and Kayden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and loving husband, Robert Plisow.
