Angelyn Helen Peck (Hill, Righter, Powers, Minarik), 82, of Mesa, AZ, died December 3, 2021, following injuries incurred at home.

Angelyn was born June 15, 1939, in the Chicago area to Joseph and Adeline Minarik. She grew up in Chicago and moved to Michigan when she was about nine years old. Angelyn graduated from Hartford High School in 1957. Shortly after high school she married Gene Powers and they had a son, Scot. In 1967 she married John Righter, who she had known since the 4th grade. John adopted Scot and together they had a daughter, Cara, and settled in Three Rivers, Michigan, where they owned a real estate office.

In the 1980’s John and Angie moved to Florida and then later to Virginia. It was there that she earned her associate degree at John Tyler Community College where she received her Certificate in Interior Decorating in December of 1989.

Angie returned to Michigan after John’s passing in 1996 to care for her aging parents where she also returned to her career in interior design. While attending a dancing event, she met Tom Hill of South Bend, Indiana. They married in 2000 and were married 14 years. In his last 2 years she compassionately cared for him during his illness and subsequent death.

Following Tom’s passing, Angie spent her winters in Mesa where she met Mike Peck. She has lived in Arizona full time for the last three years. Mike and Angie were married in March of this year.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Peck, her son and son-in-law, Scot Righter and Joe Kowalski of San Francisco, her daughter and son-in-law Cara and Raymond Elmore of Mishawaka, Indiana, Sister and brother-in -law Janet and Richard Jackson of St Joseph, step daughter, Erin (Righter) Lehmann of Stevensville; grandchildren, Will, Brooke and Hope Elmore, Jason, A.J. and Paul Lehmann; nephews Shaun (Kim) Jackson, Eric (Tiffany) Jackson and Anthony (Zhenya) and niece Amy (David) Grossblat.

She is predeceased by her parents Adeline and Joseph Minarik, previous husbands John Righter and Tom Hill, and step son-in-law, Mark Lehmann.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday December 10, 2021 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Crystal Colp officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home.
