Angiy's Obituary

Angelique Nichelle (Angiy) Jordan peacefully departed this earthly life on February 14, 2022, with her loving mother Teresa, her sister Dee Dee and her Aunt Velma at her side. On July 25, 1970, Teresa and Angiy (11 months) were lovingly joined in holy matrimony as wife and daughter to Bruce Jordan. The ceremony was officiated by the late Bishop F.L.
Cunningham. Angiy was affectionately called T.T. Angiy by her nieces and nephews.

Angiy attended South Haven Public Schools and graduated from South Haven High School in 1987. In High School she participated in Track, was a teacher assistant and was a member of the Sr. Women’s Club. She attended the Upward Bound Program in Holland, Michigan from 1985 to 1987. She attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College and graduated from Lake Michigan College in South Haven with an Associates Degree in Business
Administration. Her goal was to pursue a degree in Social Work. Her career path changed, and she instead became a licensed nail technician and was employed by Sunshine Beauty, Kerry Mark and Upscale Beauty Salons in South Haven. Her last place of employment was at Nails Your Way in Bangor.

Angiy was a member at Lily of the Valley Church under the leadership of Bishop Darryl K. Williams. She worked as a secretary for the LOTV summer intern program. She sang in the choir and with the praise & worship team. She joyfully assisted her Aunt Velma by serving in the banquet hall as well as cheerfully assisting First Lady Michelle in the kitchen

Angiy had a big heart. She loved her family - especially her children. She was an incredibly good mother to Taneika and Tyree as well as their friends. She was happy and had the
biggest smile that would melt your heart! She was lively and she loved color which was
evident in her hair and her nails. Angiy will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.
