Angeline's Obituary
Angeline Galwas, 92, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2022 in St. Joseph. She was born January 5, 1930 in Detroit, MI to Tomas and Antonina Galwas.
Angeline was a devout Catholic woman. She lived in Dearborn, Michigan, and worked at Blue Cross & Blue Shield for over 25 years. Angeline retired to New Mexico where she spent many years working with Felician nuns. Angeline loved to travel the world with her family and friends. In her later years, she enjoyed bingo, bowling, reading, polka music, and visiting with her family on the veranda.
Angeline is survived by her son, Anthony (Marsha) Wojtowicz; her grandchildren, Jill (Kevin) Mercury, and Ryan (Tara) Wojtowicz; her great grandchildren, Ivan and Dasha Kunec, Betty and Ruby Mercury, and Louis, Henry, and Samuel Wojtowicz.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Galwas, Eddie Bienko, Max Bienko, and Stanley Bienko; and her parents.
A private inurnment will take place at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn, MI.
