Andy's Obituary
Andy Carl Sandora, 73, of Niles, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at his home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 7 at 11 AM at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac, with Pastor Boyd Saylor officiating. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.clarkch.com.
Andy was born on October 13, 1948, in Schenectady, NY, to Lee & Betty (Chappell) Sandora. For many years, Andy worked as a carpenter. He was quite talented when it came to remodeling homes and fixing electronics. Realizing that wasn’t his passion, Andy began working as a security guard for various local companies until he retired in 2005. Proud of his Italian heritage, Andy loved cooking Italian food for his family. However, what he loved the most was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Andy was a wonderful man, who never met a stranger. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Andy is survived by his daughters, Katina Price and Angelina (Jason) Clayton; sons, Andy (Qiana) Sandora, Jr., Brandon (LaDonna) Sandora, Michael (Lyndsay) Sandora, Carl (Melissa) Price, Bobby Price, and Scott (Kimberly) Northrup; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Linda (Barry) Bryant and Kenny Sandora. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Betty Sandora.
