Amy's Obituary
Amy L. Davis, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born on March 18, 1974, to Dean Leslie and Cynthia Ramsdell in Aledo, Illinois. On September 4, 2004, she married, Ian Davis, and they spent 25 loving years adventuring together.
A party celebrating Amy’s life will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2023, with a service starting at 2:00 pm and refreshments with time to share memories to follow at the Section House (5896 Sawyer Rd. Amy graduated from the University of Illinois in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forest Science. She went on to work for the Whirlpool Corporation for 14 years as a Senior Sales Analyst. Her greatest passions in life were traveling with her husband, Ian, and their Dog, Bentley. They went on many motorcycles trips over the years and enjoyed sharing those memories with others. She had a green thumb and loved tending to her garden. She was an excellent cook and loved working with her husband at their 3D Barbeque business. Amy loved walking the shores of Lake Michigan.
Amy is survived by her loving husband, Ian Davis; mother, Cynthia (Steve) Bosaw; father, Dean Leslie (Kim); faithful furry companions, Bentley and Titan; siblings-in-law, Kerensa Hinrichs, Kimin Davis, Carly (Jason) Neal, Bry (Amy) Ackerman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Amy will be missed by so many who loved and cared for her. “You always bring me light and you help me find my way. A gentle kiss good night is the innocence I pray.”
