Alyssa Marie Pendleton, 29, of Dowagiac, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 12:00PM, at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St. Dowagiac, with Pastor Stacey officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Dowagiac. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Alyssa’s name may be made to Heritage Southwest Intermediate School. Those wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at www.clarkch.com
Alyssa was born July 14, 1993, in Niles, to Audra (Michael) Finney. She attended Lewis Cass Intermediate School. Alyssa was known for her feisty personality and mischievous playful spirit. Her family will always remember her as their angel and she was a blessing in their life. She will be greatly missed by her family and close friends.
Alyssa is survived by parents, Audra and Michael Finney; siblings, Ashlea (Jeremiah Hall) Davis, Seth (Mary Thorburn) Davis, Phillip (Melissa Commissaris) Gaideski and Marina (Richard David) Thornton; Grandparents, Larry (Vicky) Morse, Candace Mitchell and Leland (Janet) Meroney; niece Isla Hall and Nephew Briscoe Hall; Alyssa is also survived by her long-time home health aide, Kelly Benjamin who had a special place in Alyssa’s heart.
