Alice S. Denemark

Alice S. Denemark passed away on Wednesday afternoon, June 29th, 2022 in Stevensville, MI. She was born on July 16th, 1923 in Chicago, IL, the eldest of five children to the late John & Sofie (Druszcz) Polcyn. On August 21, 1949, Alice married William C. Denemark and moved from Cicero, Illinois to Stevensville, Michigan where she resided until her death. Her husband preceded her passing on November 26, 1997. She worked throughout her career at various establishments: VM, Health Co, Leco, Bendix, and Bit-of-Swiss. Alice will be remembered for her spontaneity, sense of humor, holiday meals, passion for Chicago Bulls basketball, and support of family. She was loved and will be missed. She is survived by two children, William J. (Evelyn) Denemark, Gary C. (Judy) Denemark, two grandchildren, a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public services. Private inurnment for both Alice and William will be Lincoln Charter Township Cemetery, Stevensville.
