Alfredo Reyes, age 72, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 29, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1950, to Juan Reyes and Consuelo Sauseda in Taft, Texas.
Funeral Mass for Alfredo will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. John's Catholic Church, 600 Columbus Ave. Benton Harbor, MI 49022, with Father James Adams officiating. A public visitation with Alfredo's family will take place Thursday evening, May 4, 2023, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road. St. Joseph, MI 49085.
On November 15, 1968, he married the former Maria Mendez, and they spent 52 years together until her passing in July of 2021.
He is survived by his children, Alfredo Reyes, Jr., Melissa (Jose) Carbajal, Consuelo Vazquez, Reyes (Isabel) Reyes, Angelita Reyes, Juan (Isabel) Reyes; grandchildren, Janette Reyes, Alfredo Reyes, III, Brianna Reyes, Marco Carbajal, Jose Carbajal, Jr., Emily Carbajal, Jose Barron, Alfredo Barron, Natalie Hernandez, Eddie Vazquez, Jr., Amanda Vazquez, Katherine Vazquez, Reyes Reyes, Jr, Daniel Reyes, Roberto Reyes, Isabel Becerra, Desire Becerra, Jacqueline Palafox, Marissa Rios, David Rios, Johnathan Rios, Daniel Cruz, Julian Reyes; and great grandchildren, Aaliya Reyes, Carly Carbajal, Jessica Hernandez, Elizabeth Hernandez, Maria Barron, Gabriela Barron, Ariana Reyes, Daniel Reyes, Olivia Reyes.
