Agathe's Obituary
Agathe Krueger of Stevensville passed away peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.
Agathe was born on September 2, 1948 to Gustav and Else Oelke in Fallersleben, Germany. She graduated from St. Joe High School in 1966 and from Patricia Stevens Career College in 1967. She worked at Indiana & Michigan Electric Company and Lincoln Township Public Library.
Agathe is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dieter; her children: Christine, Michael, Brian (Lynann) and grandson, Markus; and her brother, Alven (Elena) Oelke. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Herold Oelke.
A Gathering for friends and family will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 16 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd, St. Joseph, MI 49085. Respecting her wishes, there will be no formal service. Instead a private family burial will be held on Friday, November 17 at 11 a.m. at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Center, 3271 Lincoln Ave, St. Joseph, MI 49085.
