Donnie Jones

Mr. Donnie Jones went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 23, 2021. He was born July 30, 1952 (with his twin sister Connie) in Hayti Missouri, to Tommie and Gussie Jones.

Donnie was a caring and kind-hearted person and would give his last to anyone.  He loved to watch western movies and loved fishing.  He cherished spending time with his children, family, friends and loved having a drink or two.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie and Gussie Jones; brothers, Roy Ivory Jr, Paul Ivory, and Thomas Jones, and sisters, Virginia Ivory, Maggie Ivory, Gaynell Jones, and Geneva Jones.

Donnie leaves to cherish his memory his children, Chervest Jones of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Alethea Tobar of Saginaw Michigan, Donnell (Kathy) Tobar of Coloma, Michigan, Tina Smith and Monika (Vee) Jones of Atlanta, Georgia, Christopher (Keisha) Tobar of Columbus, Ohio, Santiea Tobar of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Nakesha (Shannon) Easley of Huntsville Alabama; siblings, twin sister, Connie (Arthur) Ferguson of South Bend, Indiana, Dorothy Jackson of Bangor, Michigan, Priscilla Gipson of Chicago, Illinois, Molly Beckucm of Augusta, Georgia, Patricia Jones and Jimmy Jones of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Linda Jones, Ricky Jones, David Jones of Benton Harbor, Michigan, and Jeanette Walker of Grand Rapids, Michigan; 19 grandchildren, 13 great grands and host of uncle, aunts, cousins, and friends.

A wake will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, at the Filbrandt Chapel in South Haven.  The funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Rodney Gulley officiating.
