Scotty's Obituary
Scotty Lee Hicks, Jr., 27, of Pullman, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021. He was born November 28, 1993 to Scotty Hicks, Sr. and Monica (Miles) Gentry in South Haven. Scotty enjoyed cosplay, making YouTube videos, and anime. He also loved playing video games and streaming while he played.
Scotty is survived by his children – Damian, Adysin, and Lyla Hicks all of Mancelona, Michigan and Winry Eleanor Hunter; parents – Scotty (Tina) Hicks, Sr. and Monica (Kenneth) Gentry of Pullman; siblings – Alyssa Hicks of Centerville, Michigan, Brittany (Devin) Wells of Allegan, and Hunter Velting of Pullman; grandparents – Barbara and Raymond Hicks of Fennville and Earl and Sally Miles of Grand Junction; great grandmother – Marie Miles of West Olive, Michigan; nephew – Xander Wells. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:30 PM with Pastor Eric Jarvis officiating at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Scotty’s memory to the Hicks Family, 1076 S. Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan 49090. Scotty will be laid to rest at Pearl Cemetery in Clyde Township.
