Shari's Obituary
Shari Belinda Rawson, 56, of Grand Junction, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Spectrum Butterworth in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born July 15, 1964 to Lester H. and Cynthia (VanderSalm) Rawson, Sr. in Holland, Michigan. Shari worked as a long-haul truck driver for 28 years. Shari also owned and operated her own rig for a period of time. She enjoyed hiking and exploring nature with her dog, Zoey. Shari was also fond of her cat, Zane. Shari loved to cook and was known for her spaghetti and barbeque sauce.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lester H. Rawson, Sr. who died in 2015.
Shari is survived by her mother, Cynthia Rawson of Grand Junction. Brothers – Lester (Trish) Rawson of Santa Fe, Texas and Jeff Rawson of Grand Junction, Michigan. Three nephews, one niece, one great nephew and two great nieces also survive.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday June 9, 2021 at the Kibbe Christian Reformed Church in Kibbie. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 1:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Vern Swieringa officiating. Memorials in Shari’s memory may be made Kibbie Christian Reformed Church, 00479 Co Rd 687, South Haven, MI 49090.
