Trudy's Obituary
Trudy Irene Klepper, 73, of Dowagiac, went home to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, May 25, 2021 at the Oaklawn Manor Adult Foster Care in Dowagiac, Michigan. She was born September 29, 1947 to Elmer Calhoun and Mary Gottesleben in Michigan. Trudy was an artist. She had a strong faith in God. She dearly loved her family, grandkids, siblings and her dog Sweet-Pea.
Trudy is survived by her children – Cindy Irish of Key West, Florida, Nancy Irish of South Haven, Jim Irish of Grand Junction, and Karen Knapp of Wooster, Ohio; grandchildren - Justin (Renae) Irish, Talia Aleman, Brian Irish, Ryon Cortina, and Heather Irish; great grandchildren – Trinity Aleman, Layla Irish, and Liam Irish; siblings – Lora (George) Hooper, Randy Gottesleben, Ellwyn Calhoun, Cheryl Calhoun Lowne, Dollie Knott, Roxanne Calhoun Hebel, and Calvin Calhoun.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Thursday June 10, 2021 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Jarvis officiating. Memorials in Trudy’s memory may be made to Oaklawn Adult Foster Care, 26710 Gage St., Dowagiac, MI 49047.
