Teresa's Obituary
Teresa Ann Danneffel, 53, of New Buffalo, formerly of Eau Claire, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in her home. She was born August 17, 1967 to Vernon and Mary Ann (Stracener) Barnett in St. Joseph, Michigan. Teresa worked as travel agent at Signal Travel in Niles. She enjoyed crocheting and loved to watch sunsets. She also was an avid fan of NASCAR racing and enjoyed watching her favorite driver, Kyle Bush. Teresa loved to host family gatherings in her home and spend time with her granddaughter, Madilynn.
Teresa is survived by her children – Tyler (Alisha) Danneffel of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Toby Danneffel of Dowagiac, Michigan, and Trevor (Joseph) Danneffel of Mishawaka, Indiana; granddaughter – Madilynn Danneffel; parents – Vernon and Mary Ann Barnett of South Haven, Michigan; and siblings – Chantel (Shannon) Gregory of San Antonio, Texas and Vernon (Bobbi Calkins) Barnett of Bangor, Michigan.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Stambaugh officiating. Teresa will be laid to rest at Stephenson Cemetery in Casco Township, Michigan.
