Doris's Obituary
Doris Jean Chapman, 83, of Grand Junction, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Graceway at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven. She was born April 29, 1937 to Ellen G. Green in Ontario, Canada. Doris married Julian Chapman in the early 1980s. They shared nearly 40 years in marriage together. Doris loved being a mother and home maker for the many children she had a part in raising. She worked various jobs in home health care, housekeeping, and for Dickerson’s Nursery. She loved having get-togethers and barbecues.
Doris is survived by her husband – Julian Chapman of Grand Junction; children – Belinda Barrett of Kentucky, Dana Sparks of Grand Haven, Aimee Baker of Hamilton, Michigan, Julie (Curtis, Sr.) Endey of Plainwell, Jodi Harris of Covert, and Charles (Debra) Chapman of South Haven; brother – Richard Raymond; grandchildren – Christopher Barrett, Melissa Borden, Ronald Chapman, William Harris, Curtis and Breanna Endey, and Madison Baker; four great grandchildren.
