Sara's Obituary
Sara F. Myhand, 94, of South Haven, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Graceway at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven. She was born January 20, 1926 to Dury and Bessie (Hardaway) Logan in Atlanta, Georgia. Sara married Teddy Myhand in 1970 in Chicago, Illinois. They shared four years of marriage until Teddy’s early passing in 1974. Sara did house keeping for Martin Luther Nursing Home in South Haven. She also worked for the South Haven Police Department. Sara had a green thumb and enjoyed farming.
She is preceded in death along with her husband and parents by siblings – Andrew H. Logan and Dury Logan, Jr.
Sara is survived by a niece – Cynthia Lewis of Decatur, Georgia, nephew – Willie Logan, and many great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Knox officiating. Sara will be laid to rest next to her husband Teddy at Lake View Cemetery in South Haven.
