Betty's Obituary
Betty Sue Shepherd, 68, of Grand Junction, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, December 1st, 2020. She was born July 8th, 1952 to the late John A. Loggins and Ella (Clardy) Loggins in Rosedale, Mississippi. Betty married Michael Shepherd on February 10th, 1990. They shared 30 years of marriage.
Betty worked various jobs in waitressing and retail throughout her life. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, including Law & Order and Gunsmoke. She also had a passion for sewing for many years.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings - John (Buddy) Loggins Jr., David Loggins, Charles Loggins, Martha Sanchez, Margaret (Ann) Shelton and Nancy Lamoureux.
Betty is survived by her loving husband – Michael Shepherd of Grand Junction; children – Rhonda Young of Hickory, North Carolina, William (Victoria) Tankersley of Morganton, North Carolina and Jessica (William) Keith of Cleveland, Tennessee. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
Private family services will be held in her honor.
