Glenda's Obituary

Glenda Faith Cooper Bowman, 67, a resident of Plainwell Michigan, passed away November 14, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born July 6, 1953 to Paul and Thelma Cooper in South Haven, Michigan. Faith Graduated from L.C. Mohr High School in South Haven.

Faith honorably served her country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.

Faith is preceded in death by her 1st husband Joe McGuire, her Father and Mother, and Brothers John A. Cooper and Paul L. Cooper.

Faith is survived by her husband Ben Bowman, and her son Nickolas McGuire.

Faith is also survived by siblings – Martha Pratt (Jess) of Stevensville, Michigan - Priscilla Meyer (Richard) of Pueblo, Colorado - Ruth Irwin of Cañon City, Colorado - Dan Cooper (Virginia) of West Olive, Michigan - Peter Cooper of Roy, New Mexico - Mary Arias (Victor) of Clarksville, Tennessee - Esther Kooi (Terry) of Muskegon, Michigan and Andrew Cooper (Regina) of South Haven, Michigan, and many other loving relatives and close friends.

Faith will be laid to rest at the McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. 

Faith was a farm girl at heart and gardening was her passion, she was known for her sense of humor, her love of family, quilting, and antiquing.  She spent many hours searching for just the right item.

Her favorite Bible verse was, Ephesians: 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”.

Faith will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and all who knew her.
