Veronica's Obituary
Veronica Rose Rader, 77, of South Haven, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 peacefully at her home with her loving partner Jim at her side. She was born February 19, 1943 to Hayden and Ila (Oliver) Hathaway in Zeeland, Michigan. Veronica grew up in South Haven and remembered jumping off the diving board into Lake Michigan for her swimming classes. Veronica loved going to the casinos, buying scratch offs, playing BINGO and winning! She loved to go for rides with her best friend Jim, checking out the beaches and enjoying the winter months in Florida with him. Veronica will be dearly missed by all she knew.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands – Wayne Thayer and Jerome Rader and daughter – Paula Kuiper.
Veronica is survived by her companion – Jim Knapp; sons – Duayne Thayer, Bryan (Jacci) Thayer; daughter – Wendy (Keith) Erskine; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her faithful canine companion, Skippy.
