Rahmelo's Obituary
Rahmelo Tariq Knighten, affectionately known as Melo, age 8 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Sunday November 1, 2020 at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born December 27, 2011 in Michigan City, Indiana to Decarlo and Cameka Knighten.
Rahmelo was a third grader of K-12 Online School in Indianapolis. One of his fictional superheroes that he loved was Spider Man. He loved watching You Tube and playing Roblox on his iPhone and IPad. He enjoyed making Tik Tok videos. He had and wore a smile that was out of this world. But most of all he loved spending time with his sisters and brother. He loved to eat ribs and Takis, so if you had one of the two you had a friend for life. Rahmelo was strong and fearless. He fought courageously with a smile on his face even in his final hours.
Rahmelo is survived by his parents-Decarlo and Cameka Knighten; siblings: Keandra, Phoenix, Camiah, Caliyah, Kimora, and Danilo Knighten.
He is beloved and will be missed by many family members and friends. Wake will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Lily of the Valley Church in Covert, Michigan. Funeral services will follow the wake at 7:00 PM with Pastor Darryl Williams officiating.
