Hudson's Obituary
Hudson John David Smith of Coloma, age 1, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the St Joseph Health System in Plymouth, Indiana. He was born July 10, 2019 to Caleb and Tayler (Snow) Smith in Valparaiso, Indiana. Hudson loved spin kick dancing, playing with balls, tooth brushes, pow pow guns, riding motorcycles with his PopPop, and playing with his cousins.
He is preceded in death by an uncle – Zack Snow; great grandfathers – Robert Wohler and Rick Holly; great-great grandfather – Otie McKie; great uncle – Jamie Smith
Hudson is survived by his parents – Caleb and Tayler (Snow) Smith of Coloma; grandparents – Kellie (Champion) Smith of Coloma, David (Anna) Smith of Chesterton, Indiana, and John and Bonnie Snow of Coloma; great great grandmother - Chris McKie; aunts and uncles – Lindsay (Cody) Kendzior, Cheyenne (Anthony) Snow, Kaylee (Logan) Snow, Haley (Branden) Hopkins; God sister – Serenity Speck; God parents – Madison and Breck Rushing of Paragould, Arkansas; great grandparents – Johnny and Linda Snow, Shirley (Hicks) Wohler, Rondal and Joy Smith, and Cyndi (Freddy) VanDon. Many other cousins, aunts, and uncles also survive.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2020 an 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM with Pastor Richard Kaiser of Red Arrow Baptist Church officiating. Hudson will be laid to rest at Fish Cemetery in Covert Township.
