Timothy "Tim" Eugene Crider

Timothy “Tim” Eugene Crider, 64, of South Haven, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born June 5, 1956 to Richard and Dorothy (Loft) Crider in Layafette, Indiana. Tim graduated from North White High School in Monon, Indiana and later received his Associates Degree in nursing from Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He worked as a registered nurse. Tim married Shannon Danae Crider on July 2, 1983 in Grand Junction, Michigan and they shared 35 years of marriage before her passing. He was the administrator for Chalet of Niles Nursing Home. Tim was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in South Haven. He loved cooking, especially fried chicken and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
 

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shannon Danae Crider.
 

Timothy is survived by his children – Cody (Gabriela) Crider and Adam Crider both of South Haven, grandchildren – Abigail, Joaquin, and Jamesetta, and siblings – Bill (Linda) Crider of Niles, Michigan, Carol (Gary) Allen of Battleground, Indiana, and Becky (Doug) Crahan of Meridian, Idaho.
 

A visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven, Michigan. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with President Jason Mika officiating. Timothy will be laid to rest at McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township.
