Diane's Obituary
Diane Edwardine Tobolt, 76, of South Haven, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at her home under hospice care with her family by her side. She was born January 13, 1944 to Edward and Cecilia (Bartnik) Panek in Chicago, Illinois. Diane worked as a keypunch operator in Chicago. She later worked at Pedal Palace arranging flowers and taking care of the shop. She married Vance Tobolt, Jr. on August 22, 1964. They shared nearly 56 years in marriage together. Diane and Vance enjoyed wintering at their Florida home in Brandenton and spending time on the lake on their boat, “Halfast II”. Diane loved traveling all over with Vance and especially enjoyed trips to St. Thomas and Key West. Diane also enjoyed shopping, spicy foods, and crocheting dish towels to make as Christmas gifts for her family and friends.
Diane is survived by her husband – Vance Tobolt, Jr. of South Haven; children – Tammy Wright and Vance (Courtney) Tobolt, III both of South Haven; grandson – Brandon (Laura) Wright of Texas.
