Ramona's Obituary

Ramona Mae Schultz, born March 16, 1932, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2020 at the age of 88. She was a devoted member of the Miracle Harvest Church. Her faith was unwavering and an inspiration to all.

Family was the most important thing to Ramona. It was her everything. Well okay, maybe the family took a close second to her horses. Those Appaloosas and Quarter Horses made her smile unlike anything we’ve ever seen. This strong, determined (also known as stubborn) and fiercely independent woman inspired us all. She taught the meaning of kindness and love, which has been passed down to each generation since.

Left to cherish her memory are:

Her Children - Jeanie (David) Cox, Lee (Sue) White, Pamela “Beauton” (Chris) Wark, Kim (Brenda) Schultz, Peggy (Marty) Farrell and Clint (Kristen) Schultz.

Her Grandkids - Ronda (Bill), Robert (Angela), Kevin, Brian (Mindy), Billie Jo (Jay-deceased), Jamie, Amy (Corey), Kim Jr., Justin (Jessica), Michael, Brandy, Marty, Trevor, Clay, Lacey.

Her Great Grandkids - Ashley, Andrew, Lindsey, Alice (Scott), Jenna, Dustin (Hailee), Luana, Louis, Heather, Gary, Kiiven, Cheyenne, Abbey, Kylie, Malachi, Ezra, Kaigen, Judah, Calley, Cayden, Riley, Jace, Sydney, Breanna, Aria, Henrik, Brielle and Duncan.

Her Great-Great Grandkids - Deven, Brenden, Easton, Emma Jean, Elijah John, Kamron, Kelsey, Lane, Pennie, Royce, Kylee, Adrian, Burban, Jaxson and Brooklyn.

Her Brothers and Sisters – Donald (Eleanor) Barringer, Clarence (Ann) Barringer, Viola Hill and Cheryl (Ivan) Pillars.

Her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Her good friends - Dorris, Shelva and Mickey.

Ramona was predeceased by her Husband - Ellis “Shorty” Schultz, Mother - Mae Barringer, Step Father - Clarence Barringer, Great Grandma Jordan, Brother - Skip Merrill, Daughter - Marsha Uplinger, Granddaughters - Kathy Hood, Tracey Sego and Jodi Funke, Grandson - Gene White and Good friend - Lois Gibson and Brother-In-Law – Gary Hill

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 30 from 12:00 to 1:00 at Miracle Harvest Church. Masks are required.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 at the church with Pastor Tony Kuenzli officiating.  Romana will be laid to rest at Chambers Cemetery, Geneva Township.
