Lawrence's Obituary
Lawrence Arthur Wentz, 87, passed away in his home on Monday, July 13, 2020. He was born September 5, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur and “Thora” Dolores (Strobel) Wentz.
Lawrence was a business owner where he worked as an electrician for many years in the South Haven Area. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lawrence is survived by his children, Laurie Jeffries of South Haven; Debbie Wentz of South Haven; Lisa (Dan) Foster of Grand Haven and Renny Wentz of Florida. Also surviving are his six grandchildren - Ashlee, Brianne, Nikolaus, Logan, Erin and Jordan. Five great grandchildren - Alexis, Emma, Kaleeah, Carden and Jude.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents and companion, Barbara Berg Sullivan who passed away in 2018.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Kuenzli officiating. Lawrence will be laid to rest at North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores, Michigan.
