Peggy's Obituary
Peggy Diane Bury,73, of Pullman passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. She was born on October 20, 1946 to Julius and Drucilla (Thomas) Sumners in Watervliet, Michigan. Peggy Married Dennis Bury on December 26, 1980 and they shared 39 years of marriage before her passing. Peggy was very active in her church, Faith of the Apostles Church in Paw Paw for many years. She retired from being a school secretary at Pullman Elementary School. Peggy was also a blueberry farmer in Pullman. One of her greatest joys was spending time with family.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, her daughter, Elizabeth Munjoy in 2017, and her brothers, Wilburn and Wayne Sumners.
Peggy will be missed by her husband, Dennis Bury, and children - Cindy (Joe) McDade of Pullman and David Munjoy of Allegan; brother - James Sumners of South Haven, Michigan; sisters - Emma Sue (Dave) Harn of South Haven and Carolyn Sumners of Pullman; and her grandchildren - Toni Ledesma, Nicole Munjoy, Corrina (Brian) Sheridan and Stacy (Danny) Morrison.
A memorial service will take place at Faith of the Apostles Church in Paw Paw at a later date.
