James's Obituary
James “Jim” Mark Dennis, Jr., 74, of Covert, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in South Haven, Michigan. He was born October 17, 1945 to James Mark and Virginia (Hooks) Dennis Sr. in Columbus, Georgia. Jim was a professional painter and skilled craftsman. After retirement he continued his skill by creating acrylic paintings he loved to gift friends and family. He took immense pride in his cooking and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jim is survived by his children – Jim Dennis of Tennessee, Joe Dennis of Covert, Michigan, Tracey (Jeremey) Heber of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, and Virginia (Tom) Jensen of Sacramento, California; brothers – Larry (Carolyn) Dennis of Florida, and Harold Dennis of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and grandchildren – JT Biggers, Harper Heber, and Harlow Heber.
Private family services have been held.
