LaVerne's Obituary
LaVerne Patricia Crutchfield, 77, of Pullman, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at her home. She was born February 28, 1943 to Felix and Rose (Myslinski) Ignowski in Chicago, Illinois. LaVerne married James Crutchfield on June 27, 1964 at Assumption Church in Chicago. They shared 48 years of marriage before his passing in 2012. LaVerne worked as a secretary for the Booth Felt Company in Chicago before her eventual retirement. She loved crafting, playing cards, scrapbooking, and chatting with friends and family. LaVerne also enjoyed baking sweets for her family including banana bread, chocolate zucchini cake and “monster cookies”.
She is preceded in death along with her parents and husband by siblings – Christine Pavlacka, Gerry Sarto, Sy Ignowski, and Eugen Ignowski.
LaVerne is survived by her children – Janice (Mike) Curley of Pullman, Jim (Debbie) Crutchfield of Cookville, Tennessee, and Joe (Diane) Crutchfield of Cookille, Tennessee; grandchildren – Jay Crutchfield, Joe D. Crutchfield, Lauren Curley, and Marty Curley; great-grandchildren – Zakary Bowen and Jase Rollins.
Private family services will be held.
