Eleanor's Obituary
Eleanor Jean Sefcik, 86, of Bangor, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 at River Ridge Retirement Village in South Haven, Michigan. She was born September 7, 1933 to Raymond and Jean (Reed) Jackson in Bangor Township. Eleanor graduated with the class of 1952 from Bangor High School. She married Kenneth Sefcik on June 2, 1952 and they shared 52 years of marriage before his passing in 2004. Eleanor enjoyed sewing and reading and had a love for travel.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son-in-law, Tony Hernandez.
Eleanor is survived by her children – Bob (Gabrielle) Sefcik of Covert, Michigan and Lori Hernandez of Dallas, Texas, sister – Raeann Waite of Rockford, Michigan, grandchildren – Jessica (Ryan) Follman, Ryan (Amber) Sefcik, and Gage Sefcik, and great grandchildren – Evan, Grant, and Gabrielle Follman, JT Posey, and Paisley Sefcik.
Private family services will be held.
