Kathleen's Obituary
Kathleen Ann McNamara (nee Schreiber), 74, of Grand Junction, MI, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. Kathy was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago and married William (Mack) D McNamara on June 6, 1964 (56 years). Kathy worked at Christ Advocate Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL as a Sterilization Technician for 23 years and upon retirement relocated to Osterhout Lake in 2006. Kathy will be remembered best for her quick sense of humor, her vivacious laugh and unending loyalty and love for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Frederick and Agnes Schreiber and brothers, Tom and Mike Schreiber.
Kathy is survived by her husband, William McNamara; children, Katy (John) Hogan of Bourbonnais, IL, William McNamara Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, and Peggy McNamara of Grand Junction, MI; granddaughter, Karen Schuit (Fiancé of Jeremy Day); great grandson, David Day; and sister, Margaret (Jerry) Dahl of Orr, MN. She was a loving aunt, niece, cousin and friend to so many.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
