Donald's Obituary
Donald James Campbell, 76, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in Jackson, Michigan. He was born August 10, 1943 to Jervis and Ida (Eggleston) Campbell in Kalamazoo. Donald served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He later worked for Bohn Aluminum and Pullman Industries. Donald enjoyed the outdoors fishing, hunting, and gardening.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by a former spouse – Josephine Campbell, children – Monica K. Campbell and Jim Campbell, and sisters – Ethel Smith and Brenda Eurand.
Donald is survived by his wife – Betty (Shears) Campbell; children – James (Elizabeth) Campbell of Jackson, Tennessee and Monica (DeUndre) Greer of Humble, Texas; step-children – Angela, Charles, and Seddie Blunt all of South Haven; brother - Jervis Campbell of South Haven; 22 grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Private family services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Pastor Henry Allen, Sr. officiating. Donald will be laid to rest at Stephenson Cemetery in Casco Township.
