Frank Roy Costello

Frank Roy Costello, 85, of Lacota, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 peacefully in his home under hospice care.  He was born September 19, 1934 to Charles Clifford Costello and Ethel (Crank) Costello in South Haven, Michigan.  Frank graduated with the class of 1953 from Bangor High School.  Frank married Helga Hoster on March 22, 1969.  They shared 50 years of marriage before his passing.  He worked for the Michigan Gas Utilities in South Haven for 38 years before his retirement in 1995. Frank always enjoyed visits from family and friends.  He was always busy on his hobby farm and he loved watching the news and auto racing.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Frank is survived by his wife, Helga Costello of Lacota, MI, children – Debra (Mark) McChesney of Scottsdale, AZ, Curt (Stacy) Costello of Phoenix, AZ, Mark (Elizabeth) Costello of Florence, AZ, Anne (Ed Kimball) Costello of Long Beach, CA, and Mary Costello of Phoenix, AZ; stepchildren – Jeanne (Randy) Seys of Hillsborough, NC, and Robert Erny of South Haven, MI; grandchildren - Anthony Costello of San Francisco, CA, Jillian (Jon) Bogner of Phoenix, AZ, Taylor Costello of Phoenix, AZ, Lydia McCabe of Goodfellow AFB, TX, and Keara Seys of Hillsborough, NC; brother – William Costello of Galesburg, MI; Niece – Raquel Costello of Alfreda, GA and nephew – Douglas Costello of Galesburg, MI.

A visitation will take place Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in South Haven.
